@yianiris there was a bank near me as a kid with a main building and a drive-in location off site with a pneumatic tube a mile long buried under a road, with the idea being that they'd be able to safely move cash and documents back and forth that way.
The blowers for it occupied most of the second floor of the main location and part of a floor of an office building near the drive-in side, and it proved completely bonkers slow and unreliable so they abandoned it shortly after it was built.
