So, great news. BBSLIST.TEXTFILES.COM now has all 275 changes I'd not added from the "Suggested BBS Corrections" form I'd not checked, as well as me fixing one or two really annoying minor build bugs (nobody ever saw these but me) and also I've made a proper backup and stored it all away safely.
Next: I'm always sitting on old BBS lists that I need to reformat to add their changes into the list. It's a "when I get to it" project. But for now... 109,000 BBSes listed!!
Sharing this for the heck of it. Whenever I get BBSLIST back up to shape and things cleaned up, I then turn to the inbox of potential BBS lists to draw information from. It's a classic "how do I deal with these numbers into a form I can ingest" problem.
You won't believe what overhyped technology is helping me actually extract the information (with me double-triple-checking, of course):
