realizing as i listen to the first episode of @audiointerface - disturbing dreams (it good; https://www.audiointerface.org/shows/disturbing-dreams/) that i only sent like five words along with my submission and i should really be thinking more about, like, notes and such.

@brhfl I was saying to my wife earlier today that I have very fond memories of listening to the radio as a kid late at night when I was supposed to be sleep. Glad that comes across. 
@audiointerface i don't know if hearts of space ever got internationally distributed, but that show (& enough blank cassettes to build up a bit of a recording hoard!) has to be at least 90% responsible for my love of synths

It was mostly John Peel for me. You never knew what he’d play next. It could be literally anything but he always made the show so listenable.
@audiointerface growing up, i knew who peel was, but as an american, it was 100% via various peel sessions recordings... none of which actually contained the man himself!
having since sought out actual broadcast recordings of his show... i definitely understand the widespread love
