Hi!
S,o I actually have a donor giving the library about 9 GB worth of scanned documents. We haven't gotten to the point where we have created a form for them to sign. I'd like to make the contents of the archive public domain or #creativecommons of some kind. Anyone have a link to some samples of documents I could use to achieve this? (Thanks #digipres gang!)
@sarahbarsness Hi Sarah, I missed your reply somehow. Thanks for these. I'll check them out! :)
@sarahbarsness Oh! The Aussie deed of gift is pure genius! Will totally try to emulate something like that! Very cool thanks!
@ron_houk I really like the CLIR report on digital donations: https://www.clir.org/pubs/reports/pub159/ It doesn't include deed of gift language, but I think you'll like the checklists at the end. This Aussie deed of gift has some really granular copyright options that you might like, too: https://dtc.nt.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0009/239850/deed-of-gift-form.pdf
