Hey serial-knowing friends: are all RS232 DB25 pinouts the same? Are any two DB9-to-DB25 adapters going to be identical? I have a DB25-equipped serial device I’m getting a USB interface for, but looks like most USB interfaces only come in DB9 flavour.

I realize there’s essentially no chance, but if anyone out there has HenaChoco series #9 with the manual, can you let me know? My copy has no manual and these are a bit hard to figure out without it.

Floppy archivist friends, looking for opinions: I have a floppy that has read errors on certain sectors with a cheap drive. Do I risk damaging it by retrying on a better-quality drive before I’m able to read it with a low-level drive like a Greaseweasel?
