Just learned that the Atari 2600 game Video Chess has a difficulty level where it takes the CPU 10 hours to make every move. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_Ch

Wake up in the morning, get dressed, make breakfast, make a move, go to work
Back from work 8 hours later, Kiss the missus, check on the kids, have dinner, make a move, go to bed
It's a long time to compute a move, but just tuned correctly so that someone could have a little fun between everything else in their life.
...assuming your kids weren't little shits and pulled the cart out to play missile command
