Fun with modern web design: this is how much of a Guardian page I can actually view the first time I visit.

@misty I love* that it asks me whether they can use extra-super cookies or just normal ones every 2 days, and also if I opt out of ‘track everything’ it throws me into the UK site.

@hugh Feels like they could totally remember this with these cookies they’re asking me about.

@hugh @misty I feel like some sites are deliberately punishing people for rejecting intrusive tracking. Sometimes in a browser, when I'm on cell data on a laptop, Google maps asks me for location, I say no, and it just shows me a zoomed out globe. I'm pretty sure they could guess my continent.
